Sarah-Maria is the oldest sister of four. Her father passed away when she was an infant and her mother had a hard time after that. At 15 she was on her own and stayed with an aunt until she was 18. She then rented an apartment (using her survivor benefits) on her own and has been there since.

Sarah-Maria is a student in the nursing department and hopes to be a pediatric nurse when she graduates. As she grew up with little money, she hopes to work hard to give her future children a childhood she did not have.

Sarah-Maria also loves photography and earns extra money photographing weddings and other events. She needs assistance with expenses for daily living and books for school
